At the beginning  of each July, the start of the Rotary’s year, the Club decides on an project to further Rotary's aim of developing international friendship. This is carried out in co-operation with an overseas Rotary Club to improve an aspect of their community. But, occasionally, the Club decides to purchase ‘Shelter Boxes’, which provides a tent and all the equipment needed to sustain life, to house people made homeless by a disaster.

The Club has, also, supported Rotary International’s ‘Polio Plus’ campaign, which aims to eliminate Polio from the world, by donating $1,000 or $2,000 per year from 2008.
